Thornton Solicitors was established by its principal Madeleine Thornton Solicitor. Madeleine is an Honours graduate from University College Dublin and from the Dublin Institute of Technology and is also a member of The Law Society of Ireland. She is the third generation of her family to practice law in the north east region stretching back to her grandfather Frank Thornton Solicitor in the 1920s to her father Patrick Eamon Thornton, State Solicitor till 1995.
